Edith Head was a Costume Designer who worked with a couple of Studio/Studio Heads to make the costume for such figures as Betty Davis, Joan Crawford, Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor to name a few back in the 1940's-early 180's.
She was known as the style icon for movies as well as award season throughout her time. Style Icon History to know.
